I even used a plain copper color too....
I used the cards whose envelopes were already shredded for my project...... for those layered panels in the middle..towards bottom.....
I used a yellow cardstock on which I layered an envelope piece cut in round..... Both the layers were cut after I sketched the pattern on them, by hand......
I used a lace that was on a sweets package...... AND the rounds like brads are the halved thermocol balls.... of course......
I used a piece of ribbon for the small bow kinda feel, on which I adhered a flower I made out of a piece of fabric & even adhered a button after distressing it with my Camel Frolika 3-D, dimensional color.......
I paper pieced the tree, leaf & petals...... AND the birdies, clouds & the small butterflies...... on those hand drawn flowers..... I drew a bunny too..on the side..... Oh! Yes! that worm in the cloud (well does not look so..... ;-) of thought is also hand drawn & paper pieced.....
I adhered that nest with a dimensional..... & distressed it totally..be it the straws or the color..... Oops! My coloring part is always SO distressing....... ;-)

Hey!!!!!! I promised to come back with my next tomorrow..... So I am here...quite early though!!!!!
I wanted to attempt that sketch I managed to manage with a card I made some time ago...... That sketch was so simple & cute & wanted to try my hand at it...... But I have also clubbed it with few other which were amazing too.... Especially the 'RECYCLED' part..... Oh! I wanted to use everything I had..... in this card of mine..... but no space..... Hence just managed to utilize one element..in it...... which I quite liked....... Again my hubby appreciated what I did...... I was happy!!!
Here is what I made......
And I thank......

All Sorts Challenge for their nice colors...... Pink, Black & White......
Saturday Challenge for their open challenge - 'Anything Goes'
Inky Impressions for their Green & Recycled....
Cute Card Thursday for their Anniversary Theme...... & I have a B'day!!!!!
How I made it???? Well......
I used a white card stock for my base....
I then used black card stock for the layer....
I stamped the hobby ideas words with picture (flower, stem & leaves) stamp on off white & pasted it on the pink card stock.....
I used 2 shades of pink for my ribbons.....
I then cut flowers out of a craft paper & the small ones out of a fabric.......
I had some double shaded sequence flowers which I adhered on the small fabric flowers.....
I had to recycle...hence I cut those thermocol balls used for gift packs, into halves & used them on the center of the flowers & on the layered card stocks too...... I used pink & white....
I used a printed sentiment hooked onto the ribbon that passed vertically......
That's it for now.... Will come with something new again....soon....
