ICRC16 {HOLI + MISTING TECHNIQUE}!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

Back to posting a creation after quite some time..... So Happy to be back....

And My Bad! Amidst all the buzz of ICR celebrations, it slipped out of mind, that my very own blog "Hastkala" was turning another year older..... :O

I take this opportunity to thank every single soul who made his/her way to my space, even ONCE in these TWO GROWING YEARS.... Everyone who took the time to go through my works & appreciate them..... Everyone who thought my works were worthy enough to be followed..... That very gesture is what I take with me & treasure for my life..... THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to ONE & ALL!!!


Now posting for today is about the new FRESH CHALLENGE ON ICR.... The INDIAN CRAFT ROOOM!!!

ICRC16 : HOLI with FUCHSIA PINK, BRIGHT GREEN & BRIGHT YELLOW + MISTING TECHNIQUE!!!

And here is my inspiration for the same..... I hope I have justified this technique, as it was totally new to me, though I have enjoyed using sprayers of any kind in & around home, since childhood.... :D

The Prep:

Fuchsia Pink CS from Fabriano for the base....
Bright Yellow & Bright Green for the layers from Fabriano....
Card Front layer is a watercolor paper from Fabriano....
Used watercolors for misting & finished it off with a glimmer mist {RAK from B}
The paisley patch is from Itsy Bitsy....
Ribbon from stash....
Rhinestones in green was a Pie Lane RAK from Ujjwal....


I have loved & admired Shakespearean Plays for the wit & the fun with pun.....

Here is a small excerpt from the very FAMOUS PLAY HAMLET!

Polonius: What do you read, my lord?
Hamlet: Words, words, words.

With my love for pun, I thought it was just the opportunity for me to play with my favorite "WORDS"..... Hence the sentiment.... "MISTING YOU ON HOLI".... Magnificently conveys my thoughts in a word..... That's the MAGIC OF PUN!

Well, then... That's pretty much everything I had with this creation..... :)
