MERRY CHRISTMAS - TAG!

Hello...

It's mid December & in a few days, just by the blink of the eyes it would be the end of December with the end of the year 2015 & would rise the brightness of a new year 2016 with rays to new hopes & lights....

Hence, here I am trying to make the best use of my mid December in terms of being able to create something for self & IndianCraftRoom....

It was time for the second set of DT Insight for ICRCPREWIN02 CoasteRide at ICR.... Here is what I was able to cook up for the recipe challenge!

Merry Christmas

Below is the story board for ICRCPREWIN02....

Was inspired by

Retro Sketches....

Merry Christmas

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

Red CS from Fabriano for the Tag Base....
Stamped The Christmas Tree stamp which was a RAK from Banu.... from a brand unknown to me...
with embossing ink...
Heat embossed it with white embossing powder & left the scattered powder to dry up to seem a snow fall....
Used a nestability die for the faux letterpress technique on the tag....
Stampin Up! Snowflake stamp with chalk ink stamped....
Sentiment from stash from a DIY kit....

Golden color Sequins over the trees....
Punched in a hole with crop-a-dile after adhering either sides with circle die cuts... And completed it with attaching an eyelet to twine through for the tag....

Merry Christmas

I had always loved making gift tags... But it had been years since crafting took a back seat midst all the ill health around.... With ICR getting back, so am I finding myself back again.... And am thankful for this thought of a tag in a jiffy....

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2016

Hello...

The year 2015 is at its end with its last month.... December!
With December everything is fun... frolic.... & love.... We see few memories from the yr pass by either making us sad or making us happy.... However it pushes us further with a new hope... A HOPE of seeing a better year ahead with a better time for all.... :) Amen!

So with December comes our next CoasteRide for the month on ICR..... And it's a fun ride & I can vouch for it.... This new ride has been set by dear designer Shraddha Patel who is a perfectionist herself & I have a special space & respect in my heart for PERFECTIONISTS!!!

Nothing is perfect... Nevertheless... Its the passion that helps one to reach near it..... & anyone into it is someone I adore always.... :)

Saying so.. here is the new story Board....

Yup! It's a Recipe CoasteRide for you with the tag name ICRCPREWIN02...

And here is what I managed to cook with the ingredients provided... Hope you like it....

HNY

Inspired by

ICRCPREWIN02
Retro Sketches....
The Paper Players with their TIC TAC TOE.....

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The base is Fabriano CS....
Layered is 210 GSM multi purpose premium card from CAMPAP in white....
Cut the windows out with nestabilities circle dies....
I even adhered a strip of DP with Christmas colors b4 I cut the windows out...
Once done I popped it up on the base....
After which I stamped the round & round stamps from Inkadinkadoo...
to create the lights of the new year celebrations....
I hand wrote the words HAPPY NEW YEAR & heat embossed it with black embossing powder...
And drew the traits to the fire crackers & heat embossed it too with golden embossing powder...
Ran a golden twine arnd the layer held with pop dots beneath....
just added few sequins to complete the card....

HNY

I wish to make use of this ride a lil more... But in vain.... At Bangalore with no craft supplies....
Hope to b able to go back sooner with everything back into normal so I can smile & have fun...

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

THANKS SO MUCH!

Hello,

On My Crafting Spree still..... Thankfully :)

Hence worked on another project... Simple yet loved the way it turned out....

So here it goes...

Thanks So Much

Made this inspired by ....

CAS Color & Sketches with their simple sketch...
Color Me with their playful colors...
Heart2Heart Challenges with their theme on being Thankful.... :D

Thanks So Much

I definitely LOOOVED the way the whole thing cooked up... So much that I could not be satiated with their pictures... Hence incorporated the clicks of the project in all possible colors & angles.... :P

Thanks So Much

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The base CS is Fabriano in white....
The Perfect Plum CS is from Stampin Up! used for the layer...
Another layer on which I worked is a 210 GSM multi purpose premium card from CAMPAP in white.... I never knew I had them & pulled out one to use & it was awesome to play on with... Crisp & smooth.... Ideal for Stamping!
I finally got to use my Sale-A-Bration BLISS from Stampin' UP! which i had been treasuring for long... reluctant or ignorant, was to put the set aside.... :-/ Nevertheless.... Better Late Than Never :D
Used the inkpads I had from Pamass in 2 shades of pink... Rose Red & Razzleberry... Not exactly but it was close....
Where the two images backed eachother.... on that center point added another popped up layer after stamping the sentiment from G Studio which was a RAK....
AND to finally complete just added two gems in white for bling!

Thanks So Much

That should be all on this project which I am so much in love with... Am just happy about it & thankful too.... :)

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to mom :P {in advance}

Hello Again.... :D

And here I am to post the last card of the projects I worked on yesterday.... Well... this was Yesternite!

A very simple card though.....

HB Mom

Was Inspired by -

Freshly Made sketches with their Sketch....
Color Throwdown with their Colors....

HB Mom

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

Since the Sketch seemed simple I made up my mind on keeping it simple too...
And with the cool colors & their pic I was inspired to frame the very snowman/snowwoman face on my project!
The White CS for the base is from Fabriano....
The layer CS in Choco Brown is from Fabriano again....
I ran the layer through my circle nestabilities die to cut that circle window out....
After which I used my gemstones from stash to form the snow man/woman through the window....
And drew through for the smiley through the lip that's spread a lil wide....
And added few more tiny Kundan assorted stones from Itsy Bitsy....
Included few pieces of the colors stamping the sentiment on vellum sheet... The stamp was from a Belated B'day Wishes set (no clue of the brand) which was a RAK from Banu...

HB Mom

SO there ends the projects from Yesterday's Card Making Spree....

I know I would make more sooner & post them all too.... By the end it was a productive day... :D

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

THANK YOU with unused stash!

Hello!

Here's my next project I worked on, after Remember When...

And I quite like this much, as I played around with broken AND few unused supplies from stash....

Thank You

And for this project I was inspired by -

The Paper Players Sketch...
Capture The Moment {Make It Monday} - Layered Stamping on Kraft CS
Heart 2 Heart Challenges with the theme... Thank You!

Thank You

That Yellow piece of CS was somehow torn & was left aside...
Yellow is however my favorite color & I wanted to mix yellow & Kraft together... as I loved the forming combo...
And the PaperTrey Stamp set Botanical Silhouette Stamps had been around unused for years now which was a RAK from Banu..... & I finally decided I wud use it on this project....

And I am pretty content with the way everything turned out for me.... :)

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The yellow CS for the base from Fabriano...
The Kraft CS for the supposed layer is from Stampin Up! from the neutral color set...
I used the Stampin Up! Border punch to just give the trimmed edges of the torn CS a lil zing...
I first Stamped the branch from WoodHaven with ColorBox Chalk Inkpad in white on the Kraft CS... However since the ink pad was left unused since long I was disappointed with it for it did not show much on my CS....
& then re inked the stamp on Dew Drop Memento Bamboo Leaves ink pad & stamped the branch...
Stamped the same on the flap of the yellow CS base too so it extends just a lil to pose a completion behind the Tagged Layer on it....
Used the same Kraft CS for the tag.... punched the ends to give it a nice shape &
Stamped the flower stamp from G Studio; Which is a wooden block stamp....
FIRST with the white chalk ink & then pink from Pamass pigment ink pad... Unfortunately the white ink does not show up as it is LIFELESS! :(
Since that gave up on me I just wanted to still highlight the image... hence embossed it in white!
Punched an eyelet & used the pink crochet thread for the accumulated bow...
Stamped the sentiment with PaperTrey Ink Botanical Silhouette Stamps.... Liked the font :)
Added halved pearls in cream & pink to finish the project....

Thank You

Soon after completing this project I knew I wanted to work on one more before i went to bed yesternite!

Hope you like card making/crafting spree for now....

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

REMEMBER WHEN....

Hello....

Am here to post my Crafting Spree ONCE AGAIN after very many years.... I had been meandering the dark tunnel I had lost myself along with my passion for crafting.... I did walk out a lil here & there... However that did not satisfy me as I very well knew I wasn't existing in the then made projects....

After Return of ICR, I was sure of finding ME as I was, when Indian Craft Room found its existence as I found mine too along with it.... Grateful!!!

Well!!! Am happy now to be wading into the calm waters just to seek my passion back hidden in some shell...

Soooo... Here is my First!!!

{HOWEVER... Am treasuring this project as of now, as its made for my husband to be delivered on his Birthday which is on the 4th of Jan, 2016.... So I ain't posting it now on FB as he is active in there but BLOGSPOT? He isn't interested... Hence safe! :P}

So here it is....

Remember When

Was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #296 ......

I was bent on making something that really interested my senses & satisfied them back too.... Went browsing through the sketches for inspiration.... And upcoming ICR Challenge gave me the very needed breakthrough by pushing me to go back to where I started in order to wade the path I had then taken with new things I had learned from around....

Doing that I knew what I wanted to try out & Sweet Sunday Sketch gave me the plan to work on a fresh canvas.....

Remember When

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

It's a simple ONE LAYERED CARD..... As they also call it CAS meaning Clean And Simple!

I rummaged my closet to see what I had but was not used in years.... Found this stamp from Unity Stamp company - Rain Or Shine
And then I knew how I would grow on that on my canvas....
SO the base CS is Fabriano.... White
Stamped the image on the CS & on a rough paper too so to use it to mask the image on CS while I worked on the beautiful sunset to fall behind them....
On a rough paper from around I die cut the circle with spellbinders nestabilities & used the negative to mask my card...
Then Used few inks from Dew Drop Memento & Stampin Up! to sponge the color within the circle to create the sunset... Put the paper aside as well as the stamped image mask...
Colored the couple in Love using Bic Markers....
Stamped a Tree from WoodHaven & kinda stamped it twice to enlarge the branches... :P using the walnut stain distress ink....
Pasted the sticker I found in stash for the very beautiful & "APT" sentiment.....

Remember When

So that is pretty much about this heartfelt card & much to my likes a satisfactory one after long long long time.... Hoping to keep up the spree for longer too....

(Oops! Seems like a lengthy post.... ;))

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

SECOND SET 4 FLAVOR BOARD on ICR!!!

Hello,

#ICRCPREWIN01 had it post another set of #DTInsight into its Group of #ICRCoasteRides....

Here is the #StoryBoard for your referral....

And find below the enlarged look to the flavor board for you.....

And following is my inspiration for the same...

ICRC Flavor Board

Well with the ongoing ICR conducted Blog Hop Linky Party they had an awesome theme for it...
I took my cue for this inspiration from it too to add to the flavors of the Mood Board....
Heart To Heart Challenges with their theme Through The window...
Pinterest Inspired Challenge with their November Inspiration...

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The base CS from ItsyBitsy....
The layer above is also from Itsy Bitsy... Its just a regular card stock & no water color paper.... I just managed water coloring it carefully so to avoid it being mangled by the use of water on it....
Stamped the layer paper with hero arts rose BG stamp...
With rhubarb stalk ink from dew drop....
And then water colored the image using camlin water color pencils...
Basically I colored the image first & then played a color mix to water color the space around the image....
And then used the Memory Box Country house Die to cut the house out... so to play with the negative ONLY...
Sentiment is a word hand cut from deja` views on vellum sheet & adhered to the card base....
Layered this water colored paper above the base with the help of pop up dots from Itsy Bitsy...
Added few stones & halved pearls from Itsy bitsy around the negative of the house in an angle to add some bling on my creation finally.... as I do not usually do it & never to this extent...
Completed the project by adding a bigger halved pearl from stash on the larger flower to give it a focal point....

ICRC Flavor Board

Definitely does not meet my expectations..... but i really could not think more than this for now...
Mostly because as I was figuring out what i wanted my health & festivals took a toll over me.... hence I decided to hurry on it working it out with another project I had to complete too..... :(

Am again hoping my next would make an effort to meet my expectations... Ok! If not meet try to meet somewhere nearer... I would be more than glad if my thoughts guide me to pave this way...

So A CRAFTER has a lil less than half a month to play around with the flavors available on this flavor board... Go ahead play with the choice of flavors for you!!!

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!
