TO MOM ON MOTHERS DAY!!!!

Hello!!!!! As the entire world is getting ready to celebrate A special Day for their Mother..... here I am, just another daughter, gearing up for the same...... I tried my hands on an Easel card, for the first time, yet to make a difference.... along with a gift box of cards..... for which the cards are not yet ready.... I will in another day.....

So here is what I made.....

This is how I made them.....

I used the red CS for base, on which I layered a plain red craft paper, on which I in turn stamped the background..... Though the image is not that clear, which is a floral border, it still gives some kinda background effect......
I drew & hand cut the butterflies & on the bigger one, I adhered a string for its antennae... & adhered small stones for an effect on all....
I tied a ribbon around, & adhered a button with a twine tied to a bow & used some bigger sized stones around for a look.....
I used a piece of red CS, which I punched on a side with my border punch & the other end I just used my scallop scissor the other way round to get the outer scalloped edge......
I hand cut scalloped circle & a plain circle adhered them on, together... & wrote a sentiment for mom....... ( whom I really miss)..... I would give it to her the day I see her, next..... :-)
I used my 3D liner from hobby ideas for those pearls on the scalloped circle.....

And I made that gift box to match, for which the set of cards are yet to be made..... I used floral stones on the box, with plain round ones, too...... & few buttons tied with strings......

I am late for few of the challenges because of my nerd Internet connection.... acting crazy..... :-(

And this is how I made it.....

I used Kraft CS for base......
I used red CS for the layers....
I punched the base with my small circle punch from hobby ideas....
I passed the red ribbon through these punched holes to give it a bordered look.....
I fastened the ends of the ribbon to tie a bow.....
I gave a scalloped border to the red lengthy panel, with my design cutter..... on which I adhered a scalloped circle, on which I in turn adhered a button with silk thread tied beneath.....
I stamped the red CS panel with my hobby ideas heart stamp with the hobby ideas red pigment ink to make a patterned background....
The use of red ink on red CS gave the tone-on-tone look to the self made CS paper....
I later stamped my Exchangeable Clear stamp on a white CS, colored it with my water color pencils & later adhered the hand cut Chocolate Cherries on the made patterned BG.......
I used two red small stones on either side of the handwritten sentiment saying.... THANK YOU!

CASED ON A COOL DAY!!!!

Hello! Today I made two of which one was for the casing challenge & the other was few challenges piled on!!!! I loved making them both...... Here they are.....

I cased this card for Crazy for Challenges....

I loved the simplicity of the card with the unique color combo.... I knew I had to try it... rather copy it.... I tried to copy.... but it takes an expert to copy too..... obviously which I am not.. hence this result..... I hope I have not got the original designer furious...... ;-)

I used my purple, black CSs...... for base & layers....
I used a blue printed paper & a purple recycled papers for layers again.....
I used a brown craft paper for the chair.......
I used the orange printed paper for the fan... either sides of the same paper..... plain & printed....
I drew & handcut both the chair & the fan. & a small butterfly on the chair.... but the flaps fell flat during captures, which I did not notice..... SORRY!!!!
And that is a hand written sentiment...... Have A Cool Day!!!!!
