SCRAP INDIA FEST{2012} - ISICR1!!!

Heya! Back again.....

Indian Crafters are officially Scrapping now..... Where? ON ICR......

ICR launched its official scrapping club, for Indian Crafters..... And since this was just the beginning & a very new concept to many, we wanted to keep it simple so crafters can learn the skills at a slow pace..... And the SCRAP INDIA FEST {2012} commenced this JANUARY......

Here is the challenge pad for the month of January along with my inspiration & LO for that month...... DARE : Use Swirls....

Since I was just back from my Vaishno Devi trip, I thought I would make use of the freshness of my vacation..... But I did not quite like the way the LO, turned out..... :(

I love the family picture though..... :D
Recycled the tassels from my hubby's EDT!
Journaling was printed out on the back of a handmade DP from RTO..... {Reliance Time Out}
Used the nuts for the props as they were a part of the prasad.....


And here is the challenge pad for the current month..... FEBRUARY!

And below is my inspiration for this month...... And I simply loved the way it turned out..... More because I got an opportunity to add a spotlight on Kuku... {My Hubby}.... After all it is our month of togetherness.... :p

Used all those DPs I had picked up from Itsy Bitsy long back & had not used.....
I love SCRAPPING for the simple reason it gives me the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to use up ALL MY SCRAPS!!!
Tag was from Itsy bitsy....
And the die cut hearts were also picked from Itsy Bitsy.... Just doodled on them..... to give it a dimension..... And I loved the way it spotlights my hubby....

I simply cherish these memories & SCRAPPING gives us the scope to do it the FUN way!!!

Hello Everyone!

Here to post the creation made for ICR, this month..... It is one of my favorite months.... Since it is so full of love....

And this month on the Valentines Day, me & Kuku would complete 18 years of togetherness.... And I am so happy & proud of it..... All I ask God is "just keep us together... Forever"!

So with another month turning over on calendars, a fresh challenge rolls over at ICR..... And with this month so important all around us, how could we have escaped LOVE!

SO here is the challenge pad with the challenge & its twist!

Frame is a digi.... {Sorry for not remembering the company} It had been almost a year, since I picked it up.... Not just picked but printed too..... just got to use it now..... Thankfully!

Ink Pads are Faber Castel in black & Memento dew drop in Rhubarb Stalk.....
Sentiment is from Close to My Heart.....
Self Adhesive border was a RAK from, I guess from TCC, Secret Santa.....
Raised the pink layer a little from the base with Foam Dots from Itsy Bitsy!

TCC {WEEKLY CHALLENGE - CAS CHALLENGE}!!!

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post this NEW YEAR! You take a break & it so happens that it sometimes takes more than longer, to really come back to your routine..... And with so many things doing rounds in my personal life, in my head, in ICR; It surely does take longer than expected..... :(

Better late than never! So here I am..... I left by the end of 2011 & to come back it took me, literally the end of January 2012.... WOW!

So it is clear that I have a big big PILE OF BACKLOGS & it would take time for me to clear that..... Meanwhile I thought I could at least keep my CURRENT EVENTS a bit clean & clear.... :D

I'm sure you are aware of the few changes at THE CRAFTER'S CAFE!
If not you better hurry..... The forum has a new look which is so pleasant & makes you happy soon as u land in there..... :D
