CHILDHOOD DREAMS!!!!!

Hello!!!! Here I am with the project that was incomplete yesterday..... Today I could not complete it the whole day...... It was only after 10:30 pm, I could sit to complete it..... Finally done with it.... But I am not too happy with it.... It could have been better, I feel...... May be the yellow is too bright or something...... Anyways, here is the card..... :)

Modus Operandi......

Grey CS for the base.....
Yellow CS for the layer.... On which I stamped the Stampology Flourishes stamp with Stampin'UP! border blue ink, to create the BG.....
Stamped the mini florals with Stampin'UP! mini stamp & pigment ink.....
Floral accents are all from Itsy Bitsy....
The Image is a digi I won at Cards For Men, in exchange to a 10$ certificate, few months back...... I had the perfect chance to use this digi..... But I had to trim certain elements of it, though not much, but still I had to, inorder to make space for the image..... :(
Colored the digi with my Camlin water color pencils.....
Ribbon & Button from Stash......

I loved this theme on the whole because I felt the quote "“There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book.”, was very true.... I loved such stories, dreamt of being in such situations & still do..... I love the feeling..... Touch Wood!!!!!!!

Hello All!!! Here I am with a quickie for today...... Oh! it took me time to decide on what I wanted exactly with the color...... That was the only tedious part of this card..... Rest was fine..... So here it is......

Blooms in white from Itsy Bitsy.....
Rhinestones in white from stash......
If it is visible in the capture, I have embossed the white layer with a bow design......

Hello! Back again... but this time with a first & maiden attempt made towards a holiday card........ Was really scared & hence tried to keep it simple.... If this is not the way it is done, kindly forgive me for it...... I just did not have any ideas flow in..... So, stuck to the sketch, on the whole.....

Purple CS for the base & Layers.....
Punched the white with Silver print DP, with floral punch from Staples.....
Stamped the Christmas Tree with stamp from G Studio......
Punched the snowflakes with punch from Isy Bitsy......
Adhered the halved thermocol balls to complete the sketch.....
Punched the bottom of the tree layer with ribbon punch from Itsy Bitsy....
Sentiments (inside & outside) both from Hobby Ideas......
