Hello!!!!! Thanks for all the lovely comments u peeps shower on my work..... It helps me to improve every day..... It motivates me to try my hands on projects I have not tried so far...... And this is one such thing I attempted & really proud that I did..... It was new... It was a challenge for sure..... & with the guidance provided, I was sure to make it.....
After I complete my projects, I show them to Kuku in a very hush! hush! way..... I mean very carefully as a surprise, just to see the reaction to it.... & feel proud too..... So did I do with this too.... As I held it slowly in front of him... He looked surprised & just pulled me towards him & pecked on my cheek...... & said "Babu mein kitna talent bhara hua hain"..... And I just inflated like a balloon..... ;-) & just left feeling like a proud peacock...... Hmmm... may be peahen... Oh! whateva! Meaning I just blew up......
So this is what I did.....
And I thank......
2sketches4you for their nice Sketch....
Stamp TV for their Monday Color Challenge....
Double Dutch Challenge for their Make a Box with pattern.....
Ginger Snap Creations for their earthly theme The Good Earth!
Cards for Men for their Fancy Folds.....
Creative Card Crew for their Birthday theme....
Pile it On for their Say it with Words.....
Scrappy Hour for their Boy Oh! Boy......
My Time to Craft Challenge for Quick Quotes.....
Simon Says Stamps Challenge for Things with Wings.....
And this is how I made it......
I used a brown & dark blue CSs for the base.... that is the gift box..... which I trimmed following the pattern shared by Double Dutch Challenge..... Thanks!
I used light blue card stock paper for the base layer.....
I used dark blue CS for the layered panels...... on which I used my scallop design cutter for the border.... & designed the sentiment space & later cut it out by hand.....
I used a string found around, on the layer & the Birthday sentiment.......
The Sentiments are all Hand Written...... The quick quote being.... " The Earth is what we ALL have in COMMON"....
I designed a butterfly & hand cut, two, which I adhered onto the lid of the box......
That is it for now.....
UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!
wow are these little gift boxes ?they are so cute.
ReplyDeletethe reason it is not working for you it is because challenge #14 is an old challenge, I believe we are currently in Challenge #15. And tonight we post challenge #16.
