CHILDHOOD DREAMS!!!!!

Hello!!!! Here I am with the project that was incomplete yesterday..... Today I could not complete it the whole day...... It was only after 10:30 pm, I could sit to complete it..... Finally done with it.... But I am not too happy with it.... It could have been better, I feel...... May be the yellow is too bright or something...... Anyways, here is the card..... :)

Childhood Dreams

And I Thank.....

Kgiron for their Sketch.......
Embellish magazine for BG stamping & Colors.....
SSDS challenge for Open Challenge......
All Sorts Challenge for Travel/Holiday......
Creative CardCrew for Bloomed Flowers.....
PinkElephant Challenge for Childhood.....
CraftyJC Challenge for DT Inspirations..... (Inspired by Alice in Wonderland:-)
StampChallenges for Celebrations..... (for my cute lil neice on her B'day)

Childhood Dreams

Modus Operandi......

Grey CS for the base.....
Yellow CS for the layer.... On which I stamped the Stampology Flourishes stamp with Stampin'UP! border blue ink, to create the BG.....
Stamped the mini florals with Stampin'UP! mini stamp & pigment ink.....
Floral accents are all from Itsy Bitsy....
The Image is a digi I won at Cards For Men, in exchange to a 10$ certificate, few months back...... I had the perfect chance to use this digi..... But I had to trim certain elements of it, though not much, but still I had to, inorder to make space for the image..... :(
Colored the digi with my Camlin water color pencils.....
Ribbon & Button from Stash......

Childhood Dreams

I loved this theme on the whole because I felt the quote "“There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book.”, was very true.... I loved such stories, dreamt of being in such situations & still do..... I love the feeling..... Touch Wood!!!!!!!

So, that is it in this post...... Will be back soon with something else.....

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!!

  9. Yellow is indeed looking great. It is a bit of hard color to work with and I think that you have done a great job with it. Awesome.
