ICRC11 {EASEL CARD + INCORPORATE BASIC SHAPES}!!!

Yup! Back again.... :D

Starting this October, we have Monthly Challenges on ICR..... And that made me think that I can escape ICR for a while & sit down to think about everything else that falls under the category of 'OTHERS'..... But have not succeeded in achieving it so far..... Hopefully sometime in near future.... Keeping Fingers Crossed!!!
Well, getting back to where we started from... ICR Challenges!!!

Beginning this October, we started afresh with so many NEW things on board.....

Firstly, the transition of bi-weekly to monthly challenge.....
Secondly, we started with our new DT on board.....
Lastly, which is the FOCUS, of this post..... We have a NEW challenge & for the first time we have a FUN FOLD for it..... :D

The Challenge was put forward to us by our very own Sudha Kalra...... And we have all had an awesome & fun time so far working on it.... Thank You Sudha for daring us with it..... :)

The Prep:

I wanted to make it different from the usual easel cards... Hence opted for the sleek look..... {Remembering the days of how I used to be.. ;) }

Chocolate Chip CS from SU! for the Easel base.... cut with Rectangle Nestabilities Die....
Fabriano CSs in Read & Off White for the paneled layers....
Layered DPs are RAKs from B.....
Nestabilities Dies for the shaped layers..... (Label & Fancy Tags)
Played with ink by sponging them around on the die cut oval panel.....
Later Stamped the love bird stamp which was a RAK from B..... (I love it way too much)
Later paper pieced the birds & the flowers with pop dots for dimensions.....
Bordered the focal layer with the fancy tag die cut....
Pierced all around on the creation to give it finished edges....
Sentiment is a clear Stamp, which was again a RAK.....
And at the end threw in a dash of gemstones to give the creation a dimension......

Well! Well! That is pretty much on this post..... Off to go relax..... :O
