Hey Peeps!!!! I came up with another card & today I can proudly say this was my QUICKESsssssssssT!!!!! ;-)
I made this in half an hour..... SO I was quick to think & ink...... But I am not that satisfied with what I made..... In the process of competing with self..... I felt I have not done justice to the sketch & the colors....... I just blindly went on with what came to my mind..... Hmmmmm.... I wanted to make one more with this sketch, but did not find time.... to attempt... ONE!!!!! My bad!!!! Anyways I have decided .... that is enough of it.... me trying to make one ASAP..... It does not serve me with any happiness later..... But for now, this is what I made.....
And the shape is also my first attempt... which I screwed up again...... Because as I do not have the required paraphernalia to shape the card, I shaped it with the help of the lid of my box which accommodates my stamps...... Since it was the first time.... I did not have an idea where to stop & just went on with my cutting...leaving very little space..... to keep the 2 flaps connected....... After this blunder I felt like a DUH!!!!!
And I wanna thank........
Double Dutch Challenge for that cute Sketch......
Lili Of The Valley for their choice of Colors...... (Blue & Silver)
Play Date Cafe for the choice of Blue.....
Our Creative Corner 6 for the theme of Break Out Buttons......
Delightful Sketches for their Buttons & Blings!!!!
Pink Elephant Challenge for Anything in Nature....
Secret Crafter Saturday for Garden Related......
EBTKS Challenge for the usage of String.....
Crafty Creations for Anything Goes......
And this is how I made it......
I used dark blue CS for my base.....
I used shades of blue CS & printed papers for the paneled layers.......
I used silver CS I had pulled out of the sweet box of Laddoos that somebody gifted..... ;-) I was actually waiting to use it somewhere & Lili of the Valley Challenge gave me this opportunity.... I thank them so much......
I used blue buttons & a silver string......
I used my silver color glitter pen to make that faux stitching & outline my flower & card.....
I used the same glitter pen to highlight the creeper on my printed paper.....
I cut flowers out of the blue printed CS paper & colored it further blue with the help of my sketch pen.......
Oops! & yes! That sentiment is a sticker I had from Landmark......
That's it for now.....
UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!
