Here is what I worked on for the hoppy hop.... Hope u like it :)

If u did & wanna hop to play along with us, then do drop by at ICR....

http://indianstampers.ning.com/profiles/blogs/emboss-me-anything-wet-or-dry

I have been inspired by a sketch from
Fusion Card Challenge- Theme & Sketch

 photo JoyBH_zpsqlprspgq.jpg

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The card base is from Itsy Bitsy.... in Off white... Patterned Stripes
The layer above from Fabriano in Choco Brown....

It was a beautiful embossing technique I followed from the net.... Where one cud emboss with just any color they chose;

Just use any stamp of your choice....
Ink Press it into the versamark embossing ink pad & again re press it into an ink pad of any color you choose to use on your project...
Once done then stamp the image on your project....
Now cover the image with clear embossing powder & then heat set it.....

Ta Da! You are done with an embossed image with a color of your choice without using the color embossing powders......

P.S. Not an invention of my own... Found it on Pinterest & You Tube; But lost the source as I had not saved the links :( Tried finding it back again, much... But in Vain!

Loved trying this new technique without having to use the embossing powder in a color I wanted.... You must give it a try!

After which I die cut a circle with my nestabilities circle die & managed to trim it in such a way that I just had only that part that wud seem like a wreath..... I then embellished it with few punched leaves & a die cute from Memory Box wreath die.... I cut it into pieces i wanted to cover my lil circle with to shape a convincing wreath....

I even used a mulberry rose from stash.... along with tiny gem stones in red to add a lil zing to the project!

 photo JoyBHDec16_zpsusdyskij.jpg

To finish it used a sentiment from an Itsy Bitsy Stamp Set.... JOY....

That is pretty much of my simple project for the "Emboss Me Anything Wet/Dry" themed blog hop today....

Autumn Colors 4 Diwali!

Hello,

Towards the end of 2016 & this September on ICR with our New DTs on board.... We have a festive fed CoateRide for you peeps....

Here is the story board to it...

http://indianstampers.ning.com/group/icrchallenges/forum/topics/icrcoct16-anything-goes-moodboard

It's a festive mood board twist for Anything it can go with....

This is what I made....

 photo HapBles_zpse4hqc4t3.jpg

Made this being inspired by a

Sketch from Paper Craft Crew....
Colors from Color Q....

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

Card base is a Kraft CS from Stampin' Up!
Layered on it is a Coffee Brown handmade paper... Used an embossing folder from stash to floral emboss it....
Layered above that is a scrap from stash.... in off white!
Once it was layered it seemed to my eyes as an insight to a room with a wall papered wall....
Once tht thot hit me, I just started building on tht....
Circle Die cut in turquoise was embossed with another embossing folder from stash & later punched out half circles from the same to shape it to a beautifully decorated Diwali Diya.....
Later I sprayed some copper glimmer mist on tht piece & let it dry completely... it gave that piece the required earthen feel....
I punched out another leaf shape for the flame in tango... orangish brown!
Punched out another circle & halved it for a tiny Diya...
& fuzzy cut a tiny flame out for it....
I then let it hang from the ceiling with the halved pearls from Itsy Bitsy...
To add on I stamped a halved circle doily image from My Minds Eye "Everything" set, so as to form an Indian Rangoli at the entrance to the Diwali decorated room....
Colored it with my camlin brush pens...
Finally completed it with a Happy Blessings sentiment from Unity Stamps....

 photo HapBles 1_zps7e3hjkib.jpg

So that was all about my project for ICRCOCT16....

Pls join us in creating your project & sharing it with us in the inlinkz at the discussion post....
Hoping to be back with the OCT 15th fortnightly Second set of DT Insight....

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!

ICR Best Selling Author!

Hello Everyone!

Am finally here to blog about the August wonderful ATC Trade on ICR....

Theme being "Let's Be Novelists" I so loved the theme & was so happy about the thought to it :D

So here is what I worked on to be a novelist on a miniature card :)

 photo GOD ROL_zps5ppdqjoz.jpg

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg
For the first I was inspired by one of my poems from the past.... I had titled it On The Roads Of Life!

 photo Roads_zpsyr2733db.jpg
And to make my novel cover I printed out a digi from my past stash... It was a cute image I so loved for it had everything so perfect to make one fall in love, yet again.... :) Am a love bird; A romantic & would remain so till the end...   :*

So yes... I printed it out to the size I required & colored it with bic markers;

To give it the feel of a novel cover, I worked on the likes on photoshop & then printed out a rough copy on print paper to know how it seems...
After which I adhered my ATC layer on which I had already adhered the colored image with a magazine cut out of a road in the midst of a forest area, on the print paper above the rough print on it;
It printed it out well though with a lil mishaps on it.... The cardstock being thicker than the print paper may have led it to lose its positioning in turn leading to damage the printing process a lil; Hence you can see the print missing on at the beginning & end...

 photo ROL_zps419gqvlt.jpg

However everything seemed to sink in well making me very proud about the way my theme was brought into life on the miniature paper;

And this was the other ATC Novel cover I worked on.... And it was again inspired by another poem I had scribbled from past.... I had titled it "Ghost Of The Dark"!

 photo Ghost_zpsxsrbq6rb.jpg

I worked on it the same way as I did for the above novel cover.... This image was again a digi from past stash & finally had a chance to work on it & quite liked the way it turned out.... but for the printing goof ups which seem really bad here on this; Yet it felt not so bad & hence I just let it be than meddling on it further.... :)

 photo GOD_zpsox5ybaoy.jpg

And yes the ATCs were sent out to my partners & really hope they liked it.... 'cuz I loved it & is very dear to me....

Being proud of what I made I even went to an extent of bringing up my novel covers alive.... ;)

Lightly adhered it on to a mini diary I had just to feel the feel of a novel cover....

AND here is what I received from my lovely trade partners.....

Thanks so much for trading with ICR..... Hope you have fun with the September trading too!

CoasteRide Septorial - A Lil More Of Stamps!

Hello Everyone!

We are towards the end of 2016 when we had just awakened to its beginning..... I dont understand what happening with time!

Anyways..... Another month brings in another CoasteRide Challenge on the Indian Craft Room....
However, for the month of September it has been paused... Instead it has been replaced with another thought.... Thought of playing tutorials for all.....

No challenge..... No sponsorship.....

just simply watch.... learn.... create..... share..... And we are calling it The CoasteRide Septorials!!!!

Every week One PART member would be sharing a tutorial based project either through pictures or a video shoot....

So it begins with me Alphabetically..... And I bring my project on a videorial!!!!

And this is what I made.....

 photo HereampNow_zpslvvi3md1.jpg

And beneath is the videorial to the same!!!

{Not a very good video 'cuz of the lack of so many things which I normally have in place to make it seamless as much as i can.... However the shredded me is left with very lil options}

Hence I did not leave it at that.... And made another set of projects on the same lines.....

And beneath I would be sharing a pictorial to the same.... Hope that helps a lil more!

Since its a PICTORIAL.... Kindly bear with me....

  photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

Here is the project for you....

 photo Njoy Lil_zpszo5ii4ye.jpg

Lets begin..... (y)

Here is what you would need....

1. Your favorite Stamp set
2. A CS as a layer on card base
3. Craft Knife
4. Scissor
5. Your favorite inks

{For some reason this pic & the one following this just does not paste itself or pose itself straight as to be easy to the eyes... So kindly ignore the irk in your eyes :( }

On this project instead of my ink pads I have used my bic marker to ink the stamp to use....

So now ink the stamp adhered to the acrylic block....

& stamp stamp the stamp on to the CS layer till your are happy of it "dying" on your CS... ;)

Ink the stamp again & let it "dye" again on a rough sheet of paper which you would be cutting out to adhere on the image so as to mask it well....

Now you would use your favorite background stamp for the lovely background on your card project.... As you stamp over the already existing image mask the image beneath is left safely untouched....

Once you are done with your required background to be pleasing your eyes, peel off the mask.... And TADA..... You have your lovely focal image intact with neat background in its vicinity....
 Now the fun part.....

Take your craft knife & smoothly make neat cuts around the spaces of the background images that you would wanna add an extra dimension to.... which would in turn come across beautifully to the crafting eyes...
When you make the cuts instead of moving your hand with the knife around the image.... its better you move the paper completely helping your hand & knife to sync well with the work....

Once you have made your cuts, its time to work on it fine.... so as to flip them open on your project.... Do not let them pop out of your project; instead just nicely & lovingly flip the added layer open.... just a lil so to make a teeny weeny peek a boo....

There you go.... You just crafted a lil more with your usual inked up stamps.... to give your project totally a different dimension on the whole....

Once you know of it you may go ahead & try to flip open anything & everything to add a zing to your creation taking it to another level....

Go ahead & layer it on the card base or a post card base & your project is ready with a different approach to it than your usual menu....

Here is yet another project I made similar to the above post card.... Its a regular card!

 photo NjoyLil_zps8bzvkkez.jpg

That is it for now..... Hoping you were inspired enough to play your first septorial.....
Keep a watch for more tuts on ICR this month & all coming months.... :D

A Tealful Birthday for ICRCMON02!

Hello....

Time for the second round of inspirations at Indian Craft Room for ICRCMON02...

Below is the story board for the same...

http://indianstampers.ning.com/group/icrchallenges/forum/topics/august-coasteride-round-2

And here is my project....

 photo TealBday_zpsifrxg6so.jpg

Been inspired by the Sketch from...

Stamplorations August Sketch Challenge

& of course our very own ICRCMON02 with the monochromatic color challenge

 photo ThePrepNew_zps5a3ccce1.jpg

The Kraft CS from Itsy Bitsy.... for the base
I stroked the blank ink cube from versa color on the card front to form a smudged layer
on which I pressed the ink cube around unevenly for a BG
I adhered a piece of chevron printed burlap piece picked from Itsy Bitsy for a layer above that
And adhered a chipboard piece in round stamped with fiskars birthday wish & a butterfly chipboard piece from stash just above the sentiment to coordinate with the sketch.... however while placing I did not quite like the circle in the place of butterfly... hence changed places of the image & sentiment to vary a lil from the sketch....
Above the sentiment & the image I then adhered a self adhesive black bling to finish the project....

 photo Teal Bday_zps7jfpnfel.jpg

That is all on this project.... You must check out all the other projects by the ICR DT on ICR....
