BM-ed to a Preschool Teacher for ICRCSPR01!

Heya.... Happy new month of March in the year 2016!!!

Yea right... leap year & tht one extra day has passed too... :(
Time Flies ... leaving sweet or salty sighs..... Hmmmmmmm!!!

Well with that its time for another cool yet amusing coasteRide at ICR... Yes with the change in the season we invite you all to play with us this spring at ICRCSPR01!

And midst all my limitations.... Yes I mean "ALL".... here is what I cud make...



And here goes the story board for ICRCSPR01....

Play with flowers but this time around ICR says no to CARDS..... Hence stay floral & play anything but CARD.... :D





Covered the Popsicle stick with a washi tape....
Then hot glued a stamped & fussy cut flower colored with the camlin brush pens picked from Sapna Book Store...
On that glued a burlap flower embellishment picked up from Itsy Bitsy...
Between them hot glued another small floral embellishment from Itsy Bitsy ....
And beneath glued another die cut floral embellishment from Itsy Bitsy giving in space between the stick & the die cut flower... so it cud b easily slid between the pages as a bookmark...
Ran a vintage washi tape underneath to form a flag & another one in floral print for another flag stamped with the sentiment THANK YOU....
Completed the project with few adhesive halved pearls picked up from Itsy Bitsy...



Made this for my lil niece who is my only kid so she cud gist it to her preschool teacher by the end of her first year which is march end..... Since she has two teachers I wud make another one once am back home & m sure it shud come out a lil better than this....

Awaiting to go back home to my supplies & a lil wrapping & packing of things in my life along wid a piece if my life too.... just so i cud find my life back a lil as it was once a long long time ago.... :)

Life is all about Love for ICRCWIN01!

Heya...

Back with my second DT Insight for ICR at ICRCWIN01!

And the theme itself is so enticing that it kept us all hooked for more... However with no supplies at all in hand I was pushed to find something to make a thing for it.... Hence picked a stamp I had used at Sharada's place thankfully at Itsy Bitsy & picked it up along with some ink pads too....

That helped me put a project into the second round of inspiration on ICR this month...

So here is what I made...



And was inspired by CAS Colors & Sketches.... for the sketch!
MFT Challenge & Inspiration for colors....
And of course ICRCWIN01 with the theme of Tic Tac Toing A Mandala for twist!

The base is a CS from Craft Creations with a super stack of 12 colors picked from Itsy Bitsy...
The center mandala shape is a stamp from W R Memory Keepers Autum flowers picked from Itsy Bitsy....
That really helped me grow on it to create a larger mandala design thru free hand doodling...
I stamped the sentiment picked up from Itsy Bitsy which shud be from G Studio.... & is beautifully touchy for SOMEONE who is me who is simply in love with the idea of love.... :P WELL! WELL!!
Doodled the flower with its stigma & decorated it with my white signo jell pen....
And stamped the leaves with the very same autumn flowers stamp from W R Memory Keepers....

I played the horizontal center line of the TIC TAC TOE... with finally dabbing the water color around to complete....

Hello Everyone!!!! Finally done with all the Fun & Frolic..... Back to working on some projects after a long long break..... Well, my mojo did not let me down, even after a break so lengthy.....

I am so so happy for both the winners of my Candy & for all the participants too..... Hope to see u all around more often..... :)

So going on with the projects I worked on today, I am here to post one of them..... I loved the basic theme, but not sure if I did justice to it..... But would surely love to attempt on more such themes..... A total WHITE!!!!

ON WITH THE DANCE!!!!!

Hello!!!! I had a hard time today.... Sat with a project, but found it quite hard to complete..... However, I am finally done with it now.... Very late..... I sat with it the whole afternoon.....

Why? I'll tell u.... First lemme show u a picture.... :(

Oh Yes! My poor little finger..... The story goes like this..... Once Upon A Time in....... LOL!!!! Okay jokes apart..... I sat to work on this project with great enthu because of the lovely bright colors..... I was so involved that I totally forgot my finger & its placement on my work area..... I happily cut through it..... Wept for quite sometime as I was alone... My hubby was not around :(
I somehow helped myself to the wash basin & let the water flow over my finger with it bleeding heavily..... More than the pain, the sight scared me..... I looked for my first aid box for the band aid..... & was happy to hear my hubby drive through.... Opened the door for him quietly as I did not wanna get him worried as soon as he entered..... After he visited the washroom, I showed him my poor index finger & wept my heart out.... He consoled me & nursed my wound & said since he was here everything would be fine now.... & even thanked God that I would not sit to work on my cards now.... But I was like Oh NO! I have to complete it.... After lunch went back to my work place & sat to start from where I left..... I noticed the cut I made on the CS....... & was shocked to see the part, where, instead of the CS I cut my finger.....

So now u can see, (back to pic above ;) how big was that cut on my index finger...... I missed a centimeter on the paper & cut that on my finger instead..... :o

And here is the final project, for which I had to shed not only my tears but a small bottle of my blood too......... :( Well it isn't a card, but a gift holder......

A 'NATUR'AL HI!!!!!!!!

Hello All! Thanks a ton for the words of appreciation & motivation on my previous project..... I was perplexed with the color... Yellow! Though it is my favorite color, I kinda find it difficult to balance the colors proportionally, with that kind of Yellow in my palette.... Lighter shade of it is still easy to move on with....... Well! I am glad peeps liked it.... Thanks a ton for all the support.... :)

Here I am back with a jiffy, today..... It took me forty five minutes to complete this card... I liked it at the end..... U say 45 minutes! Well, that is quickie as far as my other projects were concerned so far, after my being back from Ranchi break..... :)

Colored the cute girl & the cake with Faber Castell Water color pencils..... Not that neat.... I am not happy with her face.... It kinda got smudged..... :(
Punched out the blossoms from the msg insert & used them on the flap....

And on the outside I stamped Birthday Wishes & For You, from my new stash..... :)

Hey!!! Back with the next as promised in my prior..... :) Hmm..... This one yes! as the title indicates.... It is for us friends... who are friends forever.... ;) Women sometimes find it difficult to say so.... because there are times when it tends to get tedious & slips out of your hands withing a fraction of a second.... I even believe that women are nuts, many a times..... ;) Even with all these fickleness, as I have heard, seen & still believe that Yes! Women can remain friends forever..... :)

Modus Operandi :)

Used CS in dark pink for the base & those several layers.....
Dark Blue CS for the layered panel.....
4 different DPs........ ( had a hard time putting these 3/4" x 3/4" layers in place on a 4" x 4" card:-P)
Silk thread for a dimension......
Friends Stamp from Kolette Hall..... Loved the look of the stamp.... But the 'friends' kinda smudged :(
Blossoms from Itsy Bitsy.....
Used the metal dot adhesive on the center of the bigger flower.....

*** After everything was ready, realized that the recipe included hand stitching, which was a miss on my project.... In order to fulfill that, I had to undo the first layer & re-do a stitching with a black thread..... :) Phew!!!!! Now I was completely done & ready with the project...

It seems like the internet is crazy or rather the sites.... When I try to enter my project, it gives me a message that the challenge site is for sale & asks me if I wanted to buy them.... Not one but almost all of them.... Ya! Sure.....Why Not? :0

WEDDING WISHES!!!!!

Hey! I am back with that second I just mentioned on my prior post..... It took me sometime to mould this to being.... And I am so so happy with the outcome....

Both me & my hubby loved the look of it..... After all, it is Wedding Bliss!!!!!! The day I looked forward to eagerly in my life & when it finally happened, my joy knew no bounds.... And after all these years, we still LIVE & ENJOY those moments...... Sheer Bliss!!!!!

According to me "LOVE has wings...... Not to fly away through the window, but to soar higher & higher, with the passage of the time"...... I am so blessed to have relished the luscious taste of LOVE...... :-)
