BACKLOGS - FEW RECENT RAKS & ATCs!!!

Heya Peeps!!!

Not here to post any of MY PROJECTS, but this post is to share few recent RAKS I received & few months old, ATCs..... The ones I received for the respective months.....

And receiving beautiful works from fellow crafters is an AMAZING FEELING in itself..... I know the entire world agrees with me on this..... :D

So without further delay, let's check them all out ONE BY ONE!

Firstly here is a RAK I received almost a month back from one of my fellow crafters..... Priya Sivaraj!

Many of us know her & she is very popular for her DIAMOND CARD CREATION ON ICR.... And she made it as the Guest Designer on ICR for the same creation..... I wish her the very best in all her future endeavors too.....

So here is what she sent me..... It was a pleasure surprise for me..... Hard to express how I felt & still feel about it!

That is a beautiful creation & I loved all the accents I received with it...... Thank You Priya!

And this beautiful card came to me on Diwali from Lucy! And I was like :O.... Totally unexpected & stunning, all the way from GOA! Moved me to the core...... She is ONE QUIET CRAFTER.... All to herself with her passion for card making.... She has a unique style, very different from all of us..... She keeps it very low..... :D

And yes not to forget she was ONE of those few crafters who subscribed to this space & my works, when I made a start with blogging my creations {which were very amateurish}..... And I'm very thankful to her for her generosity.... God Bless her with loads of happiness, in her life...... :D

I keep wondering if I deserve the love & affection that I receive from you peeps..... But I promise myself to live up to it..... :D

Aah! That was some MOMENT! And Thank You both for gifting it to me..... :-*

Now to the Pending ATCs from the past......

Here is the first one..... Waiting to be posted since 4 months.....

Yes, They were the ATCs from the month of May! WOW!

And I received them from Vaishali Sabnani & Khushboo Rathi....... {Respectively}
May ATC was themed Birds & Animals..... And they totally justified their creations with such variations..... DO check out ALL the creations for the theme HERE!

And before I throw some light on these creations, I would like to let u know that ATC(India) has a new House! Yes it is being played on ICR with such gr8 zeal & enthu by our very own Rachana, who made ATCs possible for us, here in India.... I've been grateful to her for this thought & move......

These creations posted above were the ones I received from Jovita {Thank You so much for the Pie Lane Sticker u attached to it} & the other is from none other than our Rachana herself... :D for the month of OCT 2011..... I was delighted to see that miniature from our hostess!!!

Thank You both for making such delightful miniatures marking the celebrations of Diwali 2011!!!

BACKLOGS - MY BIRTHDAY RAKS!!!

Heelo!!!! Oh! Yes.... Clearing backlogs again..... This time, have decided, would not carry them forward anymore..... As a RESULT, you would find many posts today at ONE GO!!!! Kindly bear with me.... :D

Okay! Finally I'm happy to share the final round of my BIRTHDAY FUN!!! BACKLOGS has one strong point which lets you relive those moments again.. the feel it gave me when I received each of them for the first time..... WOW!!! Touchy Moments...... :)"" {Tears Of Joy}

So here they are.....

Dear Shalini sent this amazing box with a set of tags housed in it..... I was simply impressed by her gift wrapping skills.... with a couple of lovely ribbons wound around the box & tied together in a bow, with an appealing stone to center it along with a tag.... That certainly is CLASSY!!! That is one thing I adore a lot in any creation as such..... :D

And these were the set of tags that were housed inside it..... Are they not MARVELOUS!!! I was stunned, dumbstruck & all that follows this particular emotional state.... :D

It was for the first time I was seeing something like this in my hand..... I was aware of it, but did not ever realize how beautiful it was..... And I could only think of the dedication & passion she put into this..... That certainly moved me..... My hubby was in awe of that masterpiece too..... :O

WOW!!! Thank You so much Shalini for that unexpected moment of joy in my life..... :D

And here is the RAK from Khushboo..... To go by her name, she totally justifies it every moment in her life.... She is so full of enthu & passion, which is certainly contagious.... I was so happy to receive this package of goodies with that very sweet card accompanied....

I loved the clean & neat creation so rich with my favorite colors & a beautiful gate fold... I thoroughly enjoyed every single element on it which was perfectly balanced...

Thank You so much Khushboo, for all the love & passion with which u put them together for me..... Hugs)))

Last but certainly not the least.... Here is what Erum sent to me..... And this is one RAK, that moved me much..... It was highly unexpected & the thought that it came all the way from Pakistan, gave the gesture a different dimension.... It was SPECIAL!

That is one part of our world which is untrodden for most of us & all thanks to ICR, which has paved a way to revive those missing links.....

Oh! Erum.... It is genuinely hard for me to express the way I feel about it as it is a feeling beyond words..... And I am really sorry for communicating about it to you, a little late..... :( it just slipped my mind then as I was literally LIVING OUT OF MY SUITCASE THEN!!! Loads of love & wishes to you deary.... May you grow by leaps & bounds!!!

It feels great to go back to where we started from.... to our roots!!!

To the AGE OLD TRADITION OF EXCHANGING LOVE & WISHES, ON A PERSONAL FRONT!!!

{Where there was a dash of affection in what we did...... Where we personally put our feelings down on paper..... & it reached the person it was meant for the very same way.... Not just communicated but connected too......}

And that is exactly, what THIS IS ALL ABOUT!!!! All that we strive for now is to revive our age old tradition of exchanging wishes & blessings, in the true sense.... :D

Thanks to ALL CRAFTERS working in this direction..... :D

And a special thanks to ALL those who achieved just that by making my day a special one for me.... :D

BACKLOGS - MY BIRTHDAY & FRIENDSHIP DAY RAKS!!!

Hello Everyone!!! Finally set to clear my backlogs once & for all.... To begin with posting all my RAKS I received last month....

INTENSELY GRAPHICAL POST!!!


Firstly Friendship Day (AUGUST 7th) card I had received from Khushboo (Jumping Jack)!

I was amazed by this surprise I received in mail..... I was rather shocked! Felt good to check out Khushboo's creation in person..... Loved the neat clear lines on it..... To feel the embellished bracelets & the pair of scissors, was a good thing.....

Loved the choice of colors & elements on it.... Thank You so much Khushboo for that gesture, which really moved me..... Warm Hugs to (((YOU)))!!!

Received this cool pink card from Tejal deary..... I had checked it in the ICR gallery, but to see it in person was a pleasant feeling.... I admired the strong card... All elements so perfect in their place..... My heart went out to the thoughts she poured on the inside... Both you & your card will always find a special space in my life..... I'm glad to have known you too..... :D

I simply love the way I feel when you say "Kya Hua???" May be sometimes, I tend to sound low only to hear this..... Love you!!!!

BIRTHDAY RAKs:

And this pool which I received from Ujjwal, in the context of my birthday, was something I was totally stunned with.... I had no Pie Lane products till then & to have been surprised by this RAK, was droolworthy!!!! The card was so very innovative totally done with wool..... And it was so very secure with no loose ends..... Kamaal Tha!!!!

I had drooled over this display of cake in the ICR gallery & to have received it on my birthday was so heart warming & filling too..... :D

I was out on a small vacation far away at Ranchi.... And I received this bag of goodies from our dear Sudha..... Loved all the yummy stuffs she sent across to me.... I really hope I would be able to use them all very soon on my creations.....

I was amazed to have received a card on behalf of ICR.... Thank You so much Sudha for that thoughtful card u sent.... I loved the image a lot with those bubble trails... it is a very simple yet beautiful, to the point card.... I felt proud that you are with us at ICR!!!!

A cool card from Spardha..... Totally unexpected!!! I liked it a lot with those simple elements making for a great card..... Simply Spardha's style.... Thank You so much Spardha for that thoughtful gesture..... Wish you all the very best for a bright future..... (((Hugs)))

This amazing piece came to me in my absence, all the way from Uddhampur!!! Thank you so much Snehal for your sweet wishes & the gesture..... The card was accompanied by a Table Runner too..... which I have proudly hoarded..... ;) Love ya!!!

And this one came from Rhonda..... I was surprised by this RAK too.... As it was again unexpected..... But thankfully that gives me a taste of Rhonda's work..... A very warm person with a warm gesture.... Thanks a ton sweetheart..... I am totally floored with the way you make me feel at TLL..... Internet has certainly made the world a smaller place, for all of us..... :D

And here comes all those innocent works of ART from my tiny tots!!!! My nephew & nieces..... were all busy after their class during the weekend.... All so engrossed in making these for me.... My nephew dedicated a song for me that he quite likes & hums always..... He is 6 years old & here goes the song,

And this was given to me by didi's maids daughter...... I was truly touched by her sweet gesture..... She goes to school & is in the second standard....

BROTHER MADE CARD!!!!


And one last element of SHOCK to me was this card made by my brother.... I say this because he is a Graphics Designer & he had made digital cards for me... But a handmade card!!!!

Was something really shocking.... More so because though it was his first, it was not at all amateurish!!! Had those elements which I started with, during my initial days..... And he never inquired me for any info as such.... Independently made with clean neat lines..... No hotchpotch!!! What so ever..... Hats Off!!!!

Even now it is unbelievable for me.... I'm still in awe of that creation..... :O

A pop up card, which I have not attempted till date..... And he has done it with such ease..... Kudos!!!!!

He should be made part of ICR very soon, I guess!!!! ;)

On the whole this birthday was ONE of many such memorable birthdays, that I fondly treasure in my memories.... With so many wishes from my new Crafty Buddies & my family, LIFE FEELS SO WORTH LIVING!!!!


I know you must be all tired looking at the array of cards in this post...... Not over as yet!
